Yuor color and atmosphere are really nice so far - good concept sketch! You said that the strange behavior is selling “nut cream,” but that isn’t really apparent from this layout - you can’t tell what he’s selling… so it makes it hard to tell what the strange behavior is at all, at least for me.
Anyhow, good luck with it!

From what I’ve seen here, I think you should just paint the background, and maybe just do the character 3D. You clearly have the talent in just a study sketch to very realistically portray your idea.
