Good luck and Keep it odd, Don’t for get to have your Hockey Stick off to the side, and lets not forget about the great sport of Curling.
Haha! Yes! Love it. So many possibilities, but will definitely have to work on the oddity flavouring.
Friend:“What is it?”
Artist:“It’s like a hundred thousand little ideas all cried out at once…”
Friend:“and they suddenly stopped?”
Artist:“No, aaaarrrgh!”
That would actually be a great idea for an entry. Have a composition of 1000 ideas all blended together. Or perhaps a bunch of fairy tales in one. Though I think that has been done.
I dunno could be cool. (though I am still going with the canadian flavour!)
So excited!
hahaha great idea! Maybe have him yelling " IM SORRY!" while the enemy is all running away. Sounds like you got a solid idea so I cant wait to see what you create! maybe have a bunch of keiths bottles laying around too hehe
Cheers
Well this is the concept thus far, I am not really great at drawing so bare with me.
What is pretty much going to happen is you have the one Canadian guy surrounded by as many Canadian cliches as possible while you have the rest of the worlds armed forces invading.
The Canadian being oh so Canadian is there not to fend them off but to greet them. Haha.
What I am envisioning is something like the british navy fleet in the background, snipers up on a hill, guys crawling through the mud, americans running in, osama in his cave planning his attack (maybe little mini planes or something in his hand…
jokes jokes!) Japanese samurai, etc etc etc.
I have no clue if I can do this as to be honest I have never TEXTURED. Oh god I am dead. Expect a lot of snow, and a lot of blueish tones.
The Canadian guy will be standing out the most all colorful and what not.
Haha, I was thinking about him yelling sorry but wasn’t really sure how I would emphasize that, so I think I am going to go with “YO!” or “WELCOME!” instead.
I am probably going to add like a rug or a mat in front of him saying “welcome to canada” or something.
Also there will probably be swat coming down from the skies and crap as well… full full full.
Last for the day before I head to bed, am trying to add as much as I can think of. I know it doesn’t look like much right now, but I think you will really see it come together once I start modeling.
Cheers!
Any suggestions and crits would be HIGHLY appreciated.
now thats interesting:scream:dang ,where’d u guys got all these ideas from?
looking forward mate
i love your idea so far… Only problem is that there are too many characters on screen… too much detail… maybe you should make less of them and start focusing on the suroundings…
great nontheless…
good luck
A small yet big (for me) update on the concept, trying to finalize everything, add in all the little details I can think of to make the modeling go as smooth as possible. Trying to work out the characters style and what not.
I think this would definitely work cartoony like this so that is how I am going to approach it in 3D.
I know a lot of the anatomy is WAY off but for the life of me I can’t get it right, if anyone feels like doing a paint over to show me how I wouldn’t be against that haha.
Anyhow, crits comments are most definitely wanted and needed, thanks!!
See, I agree in part with that. But my mind keeps coming back to the hilarity of what it would be like if the world invaded Canada. What strange things would us Canadians do. We would welcome you of course!
I think it MAY work out though because of the borderline, where the Canadian is will be all white (snow) and he will be colorful and such, and on the other side of the border will be dark and intense, everyone will sort of mish mash together but still be distinct.
That is what I am thinking anyways… We shall see I suppose.
