Hey Linda, it was great to go through your thread. You’ve come up with some really nice ideas. I think my favorites are the lemmings and the cats. The idea of selling life insurance to lemmings is really funny - I dread to think what the premiums would cost

playing a bit more with the cat idea, mostly scribbling in some colors to see if the idea will work. Next step will be pencil cat sketches, I am going to need to work a lot on limb and body positions etc on the cats and perspective.

I say go with the lemming life insurance. It’s the funniest idea and a great story behind it. I see a lot of potential with that.

the lemming looks realy stressed, as one thinks and agent in such a firm woould be :D. maybe you should give them little ties or white shirts.

i realy like the cats though :smiley: if you realy change them into these ultra fluffy ones you showed :slight_smile:

Hi Linda! Just checking what you’re working on. You’re not doing weird fishes ? I’m so disappointed ! Actually, the cats are pretty weird fishes I guess. :wink:

The lemming sketch made me laugh the most though. But I guess it’s good to still explore your possibilities as long as you have ideas.

Wow! Cool updates :thumbsup: I love the color work. With the cats, the flipper on the foot of the foreground cat is not all that easy to make out, but that’s a very trivial crit because I know this is so early in the piece. The lemming pic really grabbed my attention - especially those mournful eyes (which are quite hypnotic!). I love his little suitcase too - a wonderful old-world addition to the scene. Excellent stuff!

Very nifty update! And I think I agree with Lynna. It would be awesome if you could throw him a tie or maybe some thin rimmed glasses (maybe falling off of his face).

I love it so far, I’ve still got my eye out on this thread.

Oh no! Why he doesnt stop looking at me!

Cool work on the fur and leather Linda but nothing new to hear for you, color and expression is nice but just a litle sugestion, add more glossynes to his eyes to make it most expressive.

Congratulations Linda, you are improving very much, keep it up.

PS: Im not supose to say this in public but… is really cute
