Latest Update: Concept Sketch or 3D pre-visualization: Value composition

This is my first concept.
I guess there is nothing stranger or more insane than destroying our own home/planet. I am trying to represent a screaming Earth suffering with all the atrocities that mankind is doing. A mankind that is acting more like a virus/parasite than the superior intellectual race it claims to be.
New Idea.
Sometimes a strange behavior in a certain moment in time can become something common in the future. Mobile phones, cars, planes… all of them looked strange and uncommon at a certain point in time, but today they are everywhere.
I was thinking of creating a situation with several cavemen eating raw meat and looking with disgust at one of them who is putting the meat on fire and eating it.
In this sketch I am looking for a “look” for the cavemen…
I like your idea, zeoyn, that some of the biggest discoveries in history were considered like strange behaviour at the beginning, I was also thinking in something like that but couldn’t translate it into a picture theme…
your caveman design is very original, I love the big legs and feet… are you going for 2D or 3D?
i agree with the ‘fact’. not everyone can accept changes in life, mostly just leave it as it be. so this cave man idea do work.
HI, in order to reinforce the idea I have mentioned I will probably leave the raw meat vs cooked meat idea and go for something more clear. The caveman behaving strangelly will be carving a wheel and the rest of the cavemen will be mocking with him and finding him ridiculous for creating such a useless object.
elmasfeo> Thank you for your comments. I am going for 2D. I work fulltime in 3D and painting is good for a change
jengeng> I am glad that the concept is clear
Great caveman !
I really liked, and “prehistoric” rabbit is nice too. I think you can incorporate the rabbit to your "invention of the wheel " idea, is a great character design.
I am still working on the caveman look. I am trying to achieve the correct balance between man and animal/monkey.
Not as easy as I thought
I have placed my composition and light values. I am quite pleased with it. Please let me know what you think.
Gord, Ferx, Bandro> Thank you for the comments. I am glad you like the prehistoric bunny with sabre teeth. It was not supposed to go in the final drawing but if you think it is so funny I will definetelly try to place it somewhere as a little joke.
