Latest Update: Line Art or Model: Modeling, continued…

i was initially going to enter the animation challenge, but i had a stroke of inspiration on the way home from work: torgo the accountant.

concept art to come.

#3

quick thumbnail sketch.

the idea here is that torgo is this hulking beast crammed behind a tiny desk pushing papers all day long. i’m thinking of throwing in some cheeseball inspirational posters in there, maybe a kitten calendar, a “#1 Dad” mug, that sort of thing.

HAHAHAHHAHAHAHA… Loved the sketch… Its hilarious… Cant wait to see the final entry… Im having an eye on you… God luck… God, I cant stop laughing :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

And i love the kitty poster idea and #1 Dad cup… Maybe you should have a picture of the family or something… Kind a thing you see on a work desk…

I love your idea. In fact your character and the characters from my image must work in the same office.

Hi miketche… Love your picture to… Cool think you got going… Maybe both your characters should meet at the watercooler… HAHAHA

#7

reminds me of King Yemma of DBZ

#8

LOL love the idea dude. I can’t wait to see all of the details in this one. Rock on!

#9

Started modeling the head. I figured he needed little reading glasses.

#10

althought i’m not worrying about this much yet, i think his expression needs to be sort of half-lidded and bored. or maybe the juxtaposition would work a little better if he looked friendly and ready to help you with your taxes? i’m not sure yet.

thanks for all the feedback so far!

#11

Working on upper body. Added some basic procedural textures just to block out the colors for now.

#12

This is looking real good. Maybe you might want to make him even more massive looking. Larger hulking torso and a smaller head. Really squish him in behind that tiny desk.

#13

Nice job on the modeling so far!

Keep it up!

#14

hm. that’s not a bad idea. i think once i’ve got his arms and legs built out, i’ll mess around with his proportions a bit.

#15

Love his face.
