First concept idea of a monster being afraid of a little girl.

It’s very cool :slight_smile: Great pose, and a wonderful creature design. The only issue is that Pixar kinda beat you to the idea; it might cost you originality points in the end… :hmm: I’d suggest another variation on the theme, like the monster doing prop-comedy, but Monsters’ Inc. did that too in the end…

As long as you keep the style as far as possible from Pixar’s you might be okay, but I suggest brainstorming other ideas just in case.

Nice. Would be better if the face of the girl would be visible , with a very very cute expression … for the contrast , you know :D. Keep it up.

hi mate… love your work. i think this idea is excellent but unfortunatly chrisbeaver made a very good point. on such a high profile idea it might indead ost originaity points. ver big shame as this idea could make a stunning image.

Oooh! I like this latest one… it’s hilarious! How about making the little girls victorian style women gently advising the monster on the proper way to hold his finger, but his little finger is webbed to the next one? Having it with little girls might be too fantasy-land-like, looks much more like strange behaviour when you have the adults in there??

Hi, Good sketches! saw this and got an idea of a twist. Just thought what will happen if its a small monster and an overgrown kid, really beefy chubby girl but still qute having tea?

I like the idea, but I’m not too crazy about your monster design or your sketches. I think the proportion and perspective needs quite a bit of work, and I think you’ll need to come up with a more interesting and somewhat frightening monster design. As of now it is really lacking any structure and personality. Good luck Corey !
