halo, this is a story about a girl and an alien, i thought the story a year before and here are 2 of the artworks i done before for a comic competition, a year ago as well. i think I’ll use the same concept this time but surely have to develop the rest, probably change it.

i like that view when the girl saw some strange flying object in the sky. But your right you should change it to add more elements to make it really (behaving) strange.

hi there, this is my 1st time in challenge too, thus i hav little fear while seeing so many seniors around. anyway, this is a oppotunity, what i can’t deny, rite?

if a person’s emotion can appear in eyes seeing form, what can we see when the person is happy, upset or mad, or self defending? by piercing out thorns, on fire or ice or release sorts of monstrous things? i firstly sketch a upset guy,a very unlucky guy, lose job, no friend no $$, and standing at the port for some breeze, when his emotion"s" combined and shown, the people around him was frightened, (maybe they dun have to be afraid, mostly was only felt annoyed by the ugly looking ‘form’, there used to be said that we shall control our emotion and dun let it show easily.)
then i felt sorry for him that he can’t judge whether how awful was his emotion, cos he cant see his own, for that i sketch another person nearby, her emotion and feeling could shown as well… dunno, maybe he himself is enough??

i apply some color for trying, i prefer majority dull color… still trying… the other person seems unnecessary, is it?

Pretty good idea behind the concept art u got now. Very Fast speed. Keep it up man. It’s easy to lose the motivation once u got something else which distract u.

Btw, try to explore Hard Edge brush. To make the “Focus point” in ur art more obvious. I can see u using soft brushes to paint. I oso like it . Faster blending. hehe…

I think it is better not to produce Poster-alike painting. Try to look around, especially past winners. Their artwork is visual story telling style. Best to imaging a cinematic scene or better perspective for ur character or objects.

Maybe u can blend the green hair gal into realistic object into ur painting. Try to deliver a story piece nor a movie poster.

erm… i am not sure what the idea is… from what i gather its a guy who is depressed, going through a bad time and his emotions are affecting the environment and his own biology?

if so thats pretty cool. is this jst concpet phase or is it final composition?

dinodog78- yeah! thanks for the feedback, i’m working on some other composition or sketches, will be post while i done some adjustment… it have been a while. thanks for the reminds.
W-I-L- the idea is quite around what you get, cause everything is still in the thinking period, anything will changed if i got a solid idea. well, this an’t final composition, will post out somemore if i can online next time.p/s:and yet, the “Streamyx” in our country is really made me wanna cry!! we pay for nothing. See, i moved, it hav been 2 weeks since we change the address but the telecomunication centre still done nothing about the phoneline… hav to reply in cafe.
