Wanted to get a thread started since I’ve been working on this here and there for awhile!
My general concept is a guy in a mocap suit (really, what stranger behavior is there than that?) My full comps are all on good old analog paper so we’ll have to wait 'til I find a scanner to upload those. In the mean time, here’s the rough sketch I did with the tablet and my first crack at the primary character model.
Not quite ready for crits yet, still building the basic shape and working out the topology. I threw the ear on there just now, topology is screwy where I inserted it, I thought i wanted it higher up than I did. Probably will redo before sculpting more. Enjoy!

Looking good, Alex! Glad to see you finally started this thread!
Don’t forget, you need to submit all images through official channels, through the “Submit Entry” link on the top of the thread, otherwise your images “won’t count” (i.e. the judges won’t see them and you’ll never get an image thumbnail for your thread, which is doubtless why no one has commented yet - no one thinks there are any images in here!)

Dood, scanners are cheap! you can pick one up for around $150, and since you dont live in nyc anymore, you should be able to afford that in what you’re saving in rent!
