my sample renders
it’s almost time now.
would like to thank everybody who shared their inputs on my work. didn’t had the time to reply to most of it coz of my very busy schedule but i would like to say your comments are very much appreciated! these past few days, i had the time to look at some of the entries (though i wasn’t able to comment on them online), i’m very pleased to see so much talent and beauty pouring out into the works!
i just wanted to show the environment where my story will revolve. i’m still trying to finish my entry right now. hope we all make it through the submission time!!!
nice characters. a lot of personality. they look like some troublemakers.
i also like the lighting in the kitchen. looks really cool.
ur right about the troublemaker perception! now i know that i’ve been successful
in the modeling and texturing part coz i intentionally wanted them to look as
naughty as can be but still be cute in a way.
I like your work
I’m looking forward to seeing the end:bounce:
Hope you’ll get it done, looks great. Very nice models. About his fancy helmet, should it be a bit quicker? Looking forward to see the whole animation!
evengi…i agree with u, should have made the speed of the helmet alot quicker but unfortunately, i’m running out of time finishing this piece. maybe after the competition, i’ll have time to redo some renderings. glad u liked my model. hope u’l love my finished animation!
phlorins…tnx! i’m pushing my limits with this. i really want to finish and submit it on time
Software: 3ds max
it has been one heck of a wonderful journey for me with this strange behavior contest. i’m so thankful to all that shared their inputs on my entry! to my family, hernan, vince, sonny, nelson, mibus and especially marge…i could never have finished off this entry without your support.
thank you so much to GOD for lending me the skills in arts!!!
i wasn’t able to give the storyboard because i didn’t had the time to do one, though
it was clear in my mind all the shots and scenes that i wanted to show.
here’s the synopsis of the story:
two very curious aliens came crashing into somebody’s kitchen. one of them(NUT) came across a plug from a lamp. it caught his attention and he immediately played or should i say fooled with it. he was so amazed by the blinking on and off of the lamp as he pushes and pull the plug from the wall outlet. the other guy(CHOC) came by with his own set of spoils(a spoon, a radio antenna, and a tweeser). choc gives them to nut but nut didn’t care to do anything with it. perplexed and envy of what nut was doing with the plug, choc took the tweeser and decided to do some antiques of his own without knowing the consequence that electricity has to offer.
they were electrified accidentally by the stunt choc started. surprisingly and in my case of opinion, strangely enough…instead of backing off from the shock they sustained, inspite of the health hazard they got, they wanted more of it and decided to be electrified again and again and again…strange coming from two more advanced beings than us humans. i guess the phrase “curiousity killed the cat” would be fitting enough for these two. in their case,“curiousity killed the stupids!”
hope you enjoy watching my entry…
would post a link later for a hi-res version of the file. and before i forget…i still need to finish the final image file. goodluck to all!!!
