Strange artifacts on exported displacement map


Hi all!

I’m having a strage problem with Mudbox, I must advise you that I’m a newbie using this software so my problem might be a stupid thing that I just can’t fix.

Well, exporting the displacement map from the sculpted model I obtain some strange artifacts in some areas of the map.
I tried a few options, I tried to enlarge the UV to avoid any problem caused by the edges that might be too near or things like this, but nothing changes…

Any kind of help would be appreciated and useful :slight_smile:

try to bake with the subdivision and not with raycasting method…


I already tried with that, the image above is made with the subdivision method.
