Hi everyone,
fist of all, I have to say sorry for my english. Nevertheless, I hope you can understand the important parts ^^
I´m very new to animation and such and now I want to make my first real short story. It´s for my thesis (media technology). All in all I have 6 months to realize this project…
Like many other people, I´m struggeling with the concept… It has to be a good story, to make up for my lack of animation skills…
My idea so far:
It´s night. On a park bench there´s a sleeping person.
Suddenly, a big, threatening shadow turns up behind the person on the bench.
The shadow comes closer and shortly before he reaches the person, we detect, that the shadow belongs to a fearsome vampire.
But as the vampire tries to bite his victim, he is unable to reach it. (Now the audience recognizes that the vampire is very very short!)
He can only reach with his hand above the bench, but can´t touch the person.
Next, he collects garbage and balances on top of it. His mouth is near the neck of the person, but he´s missing a few centimetres.
He is frustrated.
In the next scene, he is on a tree close to the bench. (there´s a car-jack or something. it´s lifted to the top of a branch.) ^^
The vampire is at the end of the branch. Now he can reach his victim.
When he opens his mouth to bite his victim, suddenly it´s opening the eyes… The vampire is suprised.
The victim turns into an vampire hunter. (Suddenly there´s popping up his equipment/ He has a plug in one hand, garlic earings, a cross…)
The Vampire is frightend.
The hunter smirks. Black fade out
Alternative:
The vampire has normal size.
- He tries to bite the victim, but the victim is sitting in broad sunlight
–> Vampire tries to deflect light with mirrows - Victim ate pizza with extra garlic ( it´s coming out of his mouth)
–> Vampire puts a peg on his nose
…
at the end, the victim turns into a hunter, too.
I feel like something is missing…
What do you think of the story?
My prof thinks, that the ending isn´t very good…
But i have no idea, what else could happen…
