the outside is showing through the windowsill down the bottom when it shouldnt be. It’s got nice indoor lighting, and i know that the outside light is there in the scene, but the light from outside should have more effect too, imo.
it’s a good start here…
but somehow i think if u do this in 3D, u need to show the depth of the objects clearly…the overall is a bit too flat, the window is like pasted on the wall. If u plan to refine the window, the details of the modeling should start first, try out this tutorial site from 3dtotal
http://3dtotal.com/ffa/tutorials/project_overviews/adam_guzowski/Guzowski1_1.asp
find out the concept behind the tutorial, it doesn’t mean u have to do such photorealistic or super details, but the concept behind it.
just my opinion here, hope u like it:), and hope the tutorial will help u up
ehm, need more effort on it. since ybleong10 had commented about the deatails and depth of the scene, i will give some opinion on the rendering part. i think u need some more contact shadow (occlusion) among the objects, so that those don’t look like pasted on.
cheers
I like the concept, but it needs to be fleshed out a bit more.
A couple things you could do
Get a more extrem camera angle on the window. I don’t know what your going for but if you move the camera down and to the right it would make it look bigger and more imposing. Just a thought.
Also you could add a bit of shadow to fleshout the scene a bit more. For something like this you have to create a mood in the atmosphere.
I hope I was a bit of help. Keep working on it you got the concept now you just have to get some emotion out of it.
Good luck man.
