Still Life: Winnie The Pooh

Something i made in some days just for fun, i’m quite busy with my uni studies at the moment so i didn’t have the possibility to make something requiring too much time. I decided to model Winnie because i was browsing google for some pics and i found this site: http://www.all-the-inter.net/winnie.htm which took me back to when i was a child. The task hasn’t been the easiest ever, that toy has more edgeloops than a human :smiley: I tried to use the 3 basic colours as much as i could, trying to get a sort of an X composition with Winnie in the middle: wood on top right and bottom left, bright white on top left and bottom right. I hope you like it :slight_smile:

modeling, lighting and rendering in CINEMA4D 8.5 as usual
texturing in CINEMA4D (BODYPAINT3D) and Photoshop for the (hand made) wallpaper.

as u know i love this image very much
there is a nice soft warm kiddy feel to the whole image

Very nice work. I especially like the lighting. It has a very soft feeling that fits Pooh Bear well.

Only that pose bothers me a bit as well, with him standing to the wall. It’s kinda like he is being robbed :smiley:

The T-pose was for an “ideal hug” and to keep the composition balanced.

Kay: no SSS, just GI with the St.Peters Probe and a blue area light.

Nice render! I like the softness, but the only thing that stands out is the tip of that red crayon…its sharper than all the rest. Hardly noticable, but i had to crit something.:smiley:
