Well, i’m new here at cgtalk and i just got maya. I have really been interested in cg for a while. Well, i am sorry if this is in the wrong section, but here is my second maya creation. Its the lamp from my living room. It had some grooves on the bottom, but they didnt show up on the render. Well here it is.
Got some faceting on the base, but that’s a hell of a lot better than my first 3d model was… 
Hey, nice for the second. Keep at it and soon, youll be able to model just about anything.
