hi guys;)

I used 3dsmax 6 with the defult scanline render and the raytrace advanced lighting and the only plugin that I use in this project was Digimation Stitch for the cloth, unfortionatly it runs only with 3dsmax5, So i hade to use 3dsmax5 to make the cloth then export it as 3ds to max 6.
I added color balance and blur render-effects in 3dsmax,I also made the ground and some of the goodies in bryce5 and then exported it into 3dsmax6 as 3ds files.
Most of the textures I made it by my self ,I went down strolling old Cairo areas with my camera taking photos, scanned and edited them using photoshop7 to make them textures, and of course there was the standard max textures and some other textures.

THIS IMAGE WAS MADE FOR THE www.arabcg.com CONTEST AND IT WON THE 1st place

c&c are always welcome

eclepos, good work, i like too much, your work with the illumination is superb, also, you only do postprocessing with default max?, or do some work with photoshop??, Good!

#7

Very well done. I like It a lot.

#8

I like a lot thumbsup: , but it seems to be to much glow effect … :

#9

Great work, but I find it a bit too much blured…
I think I prefer a sharper render.
But all together its a great render

#10

wow that is awsome

#11

everything is so nice ! from the model, texture to the render ! good job !

#12

Awesome but a little too blurry for me…but that s great… nice work

#13

Blurry, yet awesome

#14

Excellent stuff. It’s more along the lines of a painting (what I think people were refering to as “blurry”). Reminds me of the souks and streets of Tunis from my travels there.

Great shot. My only comments would be to make the street dirtier and to evoke more emotion, set this up to be late afternoon or early morning where you get sun coming in and sharp shadows
