Steven Stahlberg Online Workshop - Cybergirls

#2

Just through curiosity when does registration for the course open up?

#3

It’s come and gone unfortunately. Steven’s course was so popular that it sold all 20 places in just under 2 days. Most registrants were CGSociety members as we gave them the first notice.

unfortunate indeed

#5

yup, most unfortunate.
just saw this.
would not really know where to get the time right now, but this really would have tempted me to spend the bucks to learn a few tricks.
Steven Stahlberg definitely is the choice to teach about the female form

Thanks.
Don’t worry, though, if I can do it once, I can do it twice. For me, a large part of the effort is in preparing the course materials, and having done that I would be silly not to make full use of it. Unless some unforeseen obstacle crops up I’m most likely going to do another similar workshop, fairly soon after this first one is done (August 14). So keep your eyes open, and maybe post your interest here in this thread, or in the one in the main area, and we’ll try to PM you when the time comes.

#7

great news,Stephen. Keep me updated when the next course is scheduled.

Olli

#8

I am definetly interested in going through it, just please give a little bit of notice so I can assemble the funds for the course.

Am definitely taking it if it comes on next year. I saw the post as soon as it came out but unfortunately one of the requirements is that you already know Maya. Hopefully by next year I would know enough fundamentals to be able to attend the course.

#11

Did not say you have to know maya, but that steven uses Maya.
Actually it said you need basic 3D knowledge as it is no beginners class and taht there MIGHT be some parts in it that are maya specific.
Olli

#12

C’est correct Olli! Thats what I wanted to say.

#13

Is there a way I can join the workshop? Because, I am a strong 3dsmax user! But, I know a little Maya if I am going to take the workshop. Let me know something…holla!

#14

A DVD would also be nice

But yes love your “Girls” Steven.

#15

Dang…im late. Would love to spend some bucks to get some tips on creating succesful cg female. Im sure we can apply some Maya tricks into Max…its just the different workflow and way they do things that make it different. :arteest:

Hi Guys and Gals,

This might be a stupid question but i havent been able to find this information on the workshop page. Are classes for this course (cybergirl starting in September) held at a specific time or can we just log on and download the classes weekly? I’m in Sydney, Australia - i work full time (9-5) so i wanted to make sure i could access the classes after work.

Thanks

#17

There’s a new course open, 20 of the 25 places are already filled!

http://workshops.cgsociety.org/courses/000006/

As for working different hours, yes you can - the tutorials and feedback are done in a forum setting so you can log in at night or during the day.

#18

Will Steven teach another class after this session??? Iam really interested in getting into one? right now, I don’t have the funds to get into it.

#19

Hopefully

His current class is full already!

#20

thanks, Mibus, holla!

For those of you who may have missed the email. Due to the popularity of the first two courses Steven Stahlberg is hosting Cybergirl III. The course will commence on the 16 January and is limited to 25 students.

Enrolmment is now open with only 7 places remaining.
" I’m just finishing up on Steven’s workshop this week, and it’s been an incredible experience. Probably the most concentrated learning I’ve done in CG, and I’d recommend it to anyone".
Richard Nichols, Student, Cybergirl I

" I have said it before in other threads but want to repeat it: terrific course, very high-detail advanced knowledge you share here. I will certainly need a few months before I have worked all that into my own stuff."

Oliver Wuensch Student, Cybergirl II
