Steampunk Myths and Legends Entry: Timothy Terrenal
hmmm i have ton of stuff going on in my head right now… there’s just so many tempting choices to make a piece out of. the only logical way to do it is make a list of about 5 themes then narrow it down from there
so in no particular order
1). cerberus
2). pied piper of hamelin
3). sphinx
4). Atlas
5). Holy Grail
there’s a lot more just from the top of my head but i gotta focus on jus t some of these for now otherwise i’ll never be able to finish this one time. anyways… on to the studies
ok im not too sure if the studies are readable or not sorry for the rough thumbs. anyways, this is something im thinking about for the piper. something like a scene of him going awaya from the city of steam leading the little children with him… maybe they may not be children.
some pipes this time… still a lot on the air with this one. i wanna make something really detailed yet i dont want to make it look too bulk or unrecognizble as a musical intrument
These 5 themes are very interesting, it’s hard to choice !
Your sketchs are cool ! Good luck from this challenge.
The pied piper sounds very interesting. Almost dream like. I could see your main character as a human leading all sorts of obnoxious robots away! :). Keep going and lots of luck.
Great looking heads! Can’t wait to see what you cook up.
I’m suddenly reminded of Bender from Futurama.
yeah, as for the piper himself im still on the brainstorming phase for this one. one idea is to make a sinister looking almost tim curry-esque type of character with a lot of steampunk gadgetry and another idea is some sort of mechanical steam powered musician with a mean streak on hin
Hey Timothy,
Cool concepts to explore
your sketches on the piper are really great and like a lot your ideas on it! Good luck and looking forward for more updates on your concept! Cheers mate!!
Hi guy, i like your concept sketch and particularly the head …
Keep the good work !
The-hand: I also like to see your take on this concept.
ferx,Elendil_le_Grand: thanks I really appreciate it
one of the thumbs that I’m kinda leaning towards. just wanted to put up a bigger version for you guys to see. feedbacks are always much appreciated
ok second layout for this idea… i kinda have some more shots in mind, but i think i wanna wait for a few inputs first before i go at it…
