Hi all! It’s been quite a while since my last post. Hehe! Frankly, I haven’t posted to any forums for years and I really can notice that my english is even rustier than usual.:smiley:
I really enjoy the subject matter of the challenge. It gives you so much room to play with your imagination.

Ok, Here’s the first sketch.
It turned out quite different what I had in my mind. I was thinking to make it more “serious”. I’m not yet sure, but I think it went a little bit too bizarre for my taste.

The idea behind this is that the giant robot has lost his sanity screw from his head and has started to destroy the city. But no worries! Rescue team is on their way to mount a new screw!

I’m quite happy about the composition, but I’m quite sure that the majority won’t get the idea behind this at first glance. I think I have to make it more obvious by changing the view little bit higher and give more space to the airship on the foreground.
Well, I think I’m going to concept some other ideas next… Let’s see… :slight_smile:

At first glance i could not figure out what the sketch was about,after reading the explination and I looked again I saw the screw is missing from his head.

TeemuR Lovely Composition and really good start.
And very Original Concept, Love the IDEA !!

Few humble recommendations

  1. I Agree with Sonic-X that at first glance, the concept doesn’t get that clear.
  2. How about IF you make this character’s hand raise to stop the screw. Its like He enjoys the new experience.

Lets see how it evolves into final master piece man, will stick around.

And Best of luck man :slight_smile: again a very nice idea.

LOL! This is great!
Aside from the crazy stare and the clock :thumbsup:. Maybe to help get the “screw loose” idea across, have some people on the rooftops pointing out where the hole is. Trying to direct the workers (who probably know already) where to go.

Why do people point ahead of a runner in a race? It’s not like they don’t know which way is forward. :shrug:

Can’t wait to see more!

Great idea and nice concept drawing. I like the composition, it depicts the idea well enough…and the head of the punk - great design…keep going in that direction, and good luck with the challenge.
