Getting the style down? You just need huge mountains, someone screaming ‘NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!’ to the void and towering clouds.
Oh- and don’t forget the gigantic beast galloping at full speed towards the hero (who is standing bravely with his spear pointing in the correct direction)…
On second thoughts…that sounds like something for MY thread…dibs on that idea.
Interesting Myth, Simon, one I’d vaguely heard of but wasn’t really familiar with… Cool! I look forward to seeing how you combine 2D with 3D for this entry. Compositionally, everything important right now is shoved over to the left side. You might want to think about how to spread out the points of interest more. And it looks less like the Hecatonchires is threatening a city like you mentioned, just one screaming girl (which makes the scope of the piece a bit less grandiose.) Anyhow, just some thoughts… Good luck and have fun!
I agree with warlus. the weight of the image lean towards left way too much. the body of the monster hardly balance it out. I’m thinking locate the head of the monster at power point 1, looking down from left up to bottom right. Let the girl fill up power point 4 and looking back into the monster.
interesting stuff man! ace.
yeah would be cool to open it up a bit.
… still can’t stop thinking about the little red riding hood idea! could be super groovy
A
really great work so far i love the render with the many robot arms.
on this last one i think you should make the ornaments stick out sharper.
maybe try displacement (is it in bum channel atm?)
anyways keep up the nice work cant wait to see what your create out of your concepts.
I’d never heard of Hecatonchires before (but that is why it is a cool idea). I like your other ideas too… ned kelly would’ve been really interesting! but anyways best of luck hey
yay for oz
