I’m going for the old greek stories…
just warming engines and setting up the mood.

Lookin´ good mate! Keep it up! (Ok this time i´m not gonna tell you this is a piece of… xD)

#5

I’m going for the “Iliad”
…but not decided at 100%, for sure I wanna do greek mithology, and the one on top of the list is the war of Troy.

ooh thats a really interesting idea, cant wait for more progress!

Great theme man!!!. You could search for some images next to that period in the black figures pottery from the S.VII b.c. from Greece ( weapons, figure-eight shields, wild board teeth helmets…).

Good Luck!!!

#12

concept for the upper body of Agamemnon

#13

Cool! I really like that leather look

#14

It is cool; I like the leather look. However, because of the silhouette and the design of the upper portion (reminds me of a dress), it looks rather feminine to me.

#15

Yeah, I notice the femenine look
maybe it’s because of the shoulders… dunno

but I want to go for a victorian/baroque style and that’s a little bit femenine

#16

Refining ideas for Agamemnon

#17

Refs for the Agamemnon’s Face features:

…but with beard

#18

refining the concept for agamemnon

#19

Possible colour palette for Agamemnon

After considering my entry I’m going to change the subject…
It’s too complicated for the time I have, so, I’ll do something simpler

I’m gonna do a Beast, some kind of mythological or legendary animal
Dragon, Griff, Hidra…
with some of the parts made of metal, mechanical stuff and gears.

I think it’s more suitable to model, rather than a complicated scene from the greek mythology.

The time is really a problem when we intent to do a big scene like yours. A lot of things to do. A simple subject is really a better choice in my opnion. I’m doing a dragon moved by steam power, very simple. In the last challenge I had a big scene but I can’t finished it because of the time. With a simple theme we can dedicate more of our time to less things and as consequence we have a good chance to finished as planned.

Good luck to you my friend and all the best in the challenge!
