#43

Well tried some new composition and Lighting as suggested by Jimmy.

#44

Need suggestions and would like to know which one looks good as far as colors are concerned.

#45

Color test 2.

#46

monsitj: Yeah for now I have to concentrate on other parts. But let see it’s a good suggestion of adding Small steam tubes on his back or sides maybe:) Thanx for suggestion.

soapy : Hey dude thanx for postindustrial warzone environment suggestion. Let me know what you feel about the new post:)

snehalghag : Hey thanx dude:beer:

daWinky : Hey sabrina thanx for replying. Yeah now next step is back to modeling:).

#47

I don’t why I personally like this color. Please give suggestions.

#48

The color is very steampunkish. With a little bit of blue grey smoke from that pipe I think you would be set. Is it possible to taper the limbs a bit or round them out? And push those front leg joints back a bit? Even fully extended there tends to be a little bit of a bend in limbs. I think robotic teeth would be cool too. But I like the direction your heading in.

Thanks for stopping by my thread.

Hey Roshan,

My pick is for the one on the right of the Comp Test 2. The orange/brown color that you like could be brought back through the wolf. I think the blues and oranges would work really well like that! Try it out, let me know how it works out!

Also, I know the background is far from over, but it’s very dark at the present, maybe some accent lights in the lower part of the background to bring back out some of that detail?!

Oh, I also wanted to ask, are you going to pose him in a more organic, slightly less stiff pose for the final image?

Keep us posted!

Nice work on all the new models. I like the blue colour, it feels like a moonlight scene.

The composition feels a bit closed in to me, maybe move the buildings back a little? Plus I think it would be good to have some open sky between the wolfs head and the moon to make certain that connection.

Looking great.

#51

That’s one fine-looking wolf. I really like those mechanical details throughout its form. I tend to agree with soapy and warpv about the lighting - I also think the moonlit feeling of the blue lighting works well

#52

Spaced out the whole thing a bit. Worked on light and colors.

#53

A little more bluish tone.

#54

Hey Roshan,

can’t belive what you’ve all done in the short time since my last look in here…that’s fantastic work, you’ve built the perfect environment for your wolf:thumbsup: ! And I clearly prefer the more blue tinted scene, a good feeling of moonlight…So just continue like this and you’re finished before Xmas:cool: …

Womball : Yup it is possible to taper the limbs, but rightnow I’m planning to move ahead. Later I’ll do the geometry changes if time permits:)

warpv : Yeah I have worked on the lighting and planning to go with Bluish tone. Thanx for suggestions Dude:)

soapy : Yup I have spaced out everything.I have pushed the buildings little backside and also added some space between buildings for open space between Wolf and sky. Thanx for suggestions Dude:)

mdavid : Thanx for replying buddy. Yeah I have decided to go with bluish tone finally:)

daWinky : Actually used lot of tricks by adding alpha planes behind the geometries:) So Bluish color is my final decision also. Next is to complete the model and start with textures:).

#56

the blue is definetly the best …looks awsome mate keep going

#57

Wow yeah, great update! The blue colors definately work very well! And the background is also much better now! What’s the next step?! The head?!

#58

Worked on Head portion. Some more teeths will be there in the final image:D.

#59

thebest: Yup Blue looks real good. Thanx:beer:

warpv : Yeah, I have completed working on head. And planning to start with composition.
I won’t be texturing or unwrapping my model and scene in 3dsmax. Every thing will be done in photoshop with layering, masking and blending and some paint job on my grey shaded 3d rendered image:). Thanx dude.

Hey! That’s a really nice wolf model now - love all the details!
As for the coloring I find the blue one a bit to saturated, how about making a mix of the yello and the blue? Could be moonlight/ electrical light both.
The scene looks really nice too, no complaints from me
