ok here is the list with the assignments for alex and me

alex ->van helsing steam pistol (about 90% modeling done)
->3d landscape
->draculas castle
->dracula character
->vizual storyboarding (in progress)
->crazy interior scene full of steampunk elements

vlad->the sanctuary (20% modeling done)
->draculas heart (model done - texturing in progress)
->van helsing character
->steampunk’d soldiers
->some interior scenes and the main interior corridor
->the initial trailer scene

so these are our assignments that we should finish until the end of the month with both full detail modeling and texturing

next after this:
-at the beginning of january we should start some rigging and lightning stuff.
-render tests
-rendering process
-postproduction and final movie output

in the next few days we shall upload the fully finished pistol and heart both with the making process. we are just a team of two on this project so be patient with us :smiley:

well…soon we will have the winter school break …so fortunately we will have more time to spend on our trailer…

here is our progress so far…

alex is currently working on the castle …doing a great job there:D…modeling the Bran castle from scratch and also rethinking it with steampunk elements…and he is also working on the landscape…

i quite finished modeling two interior environments, one of our characters, plus some extra elements that will be present in our trailer action

still…more are to be modeled :banghead:
these days we will upload some wip :wip:

i would have a few questions about soundtracks that we could use in our trailer…

well…can we use any soundtrack that would fit in our trailer without buyn’ any copywright from the publisher…?:sad: cause we know this is a contest and we don;t want to have any problems or so…and the major issue…we are just a team of two and we don’t have any clue about sound making and so …unfortunately :banghead: and buying a song and sincronize it on our trailer …takes over our budget waaay to much and we can’t afford since we are doing the trailer…full cg and no motion capture or any other tech…

so…any ideas…?

we really have many things to finish…alex in still working on the castle…he should finish it by the end of this week and start making the full landscape…

i am currently texturing some of the finished pieces…and modeling one of our main characters…

we should post some wip stills sometime near the weekend
