Great progress, the last render looks fine! I think I prefer the mirrored version, but both angles work well. Nice touch with the Disney Gepetto drawing in the back.

Software: BodyPaint,Maya,mental ray,Modo,Mudbox,Photoshop,ZBrush

After his fish and because of his sadness and lonelyness, Gepetto decided to construct a new robot : a son. The scene take place in a sad and bad world. Gepetto is finishing his pinocchio and hope it’s working. It’s the reason of his expression.

This is my first finish image in a cg challenge, after many tries. It was a good and cool experience, but also hard to finish.
Hope you like this image.

candle is a really good addition… that make a lot, with the atmopshere.

Yep… I saw the new deadline…

The part which need more work is for me the “aquarium”… don’t know what way will be the better, but it appear a little too flat now… uniformized with the yellow mood…
but I know it’s not very easy… and sincerly, I don’t exactly how to do… but you have anyway few days to do more tests now…

and about the “rat” ? :drool:

Ok i notice your advices …
What i will do is :

  • expression of Gepetto (an idea ?)
  • delete the shadow of the nose of gepetto
  • the oil in the bocal
  • maybe chang the framing far away gepetto to let him more place
  • more details and cganges in the bcak
  • more life in pinocchio’s eyes

If i will do this it will be good :wink:
