Steampunk Myths and Legends Entry: Magdalena Dadela
hey Magda, i really like your concept, and i’m sure is better to do a great model , then lots of unfinished ones, so i’m a bit scared i’ll be in that position and not be able to finish them…
best of luck Magda ! ![]()
So good to see you here Magdalena. As I told Nicolas Collings, it’s so great to see old forumers join the challenge. Let’s see who gets a better result between you, Collings and me
Best wishes~
OMG - thanks everybody so much for your kind words about the concept - well I’ll start the modeling asap
Needed some breather over the weekend
Jack - throwing down the gauntlet are we? LOL…
AndreiSzasz - you’re scared? Hehe omg dude… ‘unfinished’ and ‘changed my mind’ are my middle name:scream:
Hey Magdalena,
Cool idea and really nice sketch. Think your portrait approach can be really great
Looking forwar for more updates on your concept. Good luck !
well if its an unofficial competition going on im definitly on your side
i really like the concept a lot.
right now its more princess amidala then steampunk on first sight
but you always know what your doing.
Hi Magdalena!
I realized I missed your thread…and that’s a shame because your concept sketch looks great! It’s promising, I can’t wait to see more!
See ya!
:bounce:
decided to revise my idea - wasn’t too happy with the previous one - and go for my favorite story of all time - HAMLET … I have no idea why I haven’t done that from the start 0_o
this is a VERT quick mock up/collage of the steampunk prince [looks too much like a girl hehe and btw, it’s a skull he’s holding … kinda chunky, I know]
well now I have to really get a move on!
the frist idea was great but this one is nice too ! Let’s move now you have some time to catch up
lol yeah … well thankfully I’ve got just one dude so I should catch up fingers crossed Thanks Nick!
a very good morning Magda!
i like the color scheme in this new concept! … in fact … speaking of which … you can combine one or more mythologies and see what works out … that way there’s stylization and originality at the same time …
[ just an idea ] = how about pairing hamlet with someone else … more dark or equivalent to his level …
one thing for sure … there are traces of ‘mystery’ in your work
