Steampunk Myths and Legends Entry: Maciej Frolow
A difficult choice…
left: I can show a battle on the ground.
right: I can show less but the image is more dramatic.
No need to think much for me… right ![]()
but maybe you can trick a little while using left aspect of columns… do you see what I mean ? :wise:
ok I think I will keep this one… I`ll focus on other details and go back to the camera angle later… if needed…
Loving it so far.
Are you going to do something special with the sword
Or should we be pleasantly surprised and wait patiently?
Nice set design and detailing so far. I think the lower camera angle works better for you - more dramatic and more focus on the character. ![]()
It’s better Maciej… a bit more ? not ?
In any case, you have time to find the good framing after next addtions…
coolkonrad - thank you
morenike - of course there will be something with the sword… but patience is a vertue
walrus - Thank you Michael, yes the camera angle is the good one
Lemog - yes, thats much better and as it`s threedee it can be corrected forever, ever, forever…
I agree with my previous posters. Lower camera makes the pic more concentrated on person and the whole scene looks more impressive. I can feel the big scale of this chamber.
Keep up the good work!
Hey Maciej,
Really great work! Like a lot the whole designs on your concept! nice
The orbs looks really amazing. Agree with the others, the last camera angle works really well. Again, fantastic work and waiting for more updates!! Cheers!!
yeah, Now this is what I call something huge
I think you are close to ideal with your camera, now the main problem to finish the mood and nice feel of the image is more dramatic lighting. It’s too static now I think
I’m counting you will push it up to the end, good luck!
Ferx - thx, glad you like the whole project
arturro - thanks, certainly the light have to be reviewed… I will set up a new one soon.
I now have a base for my image, a strong storytelling I hope. The key moment will be the creation of the knights of the round table where the king will designate them with his sword. The idea behind is that they will be air commanders of hudge zeppelins so they will wear a more leather based armor.
Just hope to finish on time all this hudge stuff :banghead:
Just a start on the hudge zeppelin. I designed it differently… with metal plates all around the soft baloon. This kind of cage protects mostly of any ennemy fire.
I will add pipes running all around and some weaponnery of course
Great details. You maybe mentionned it but does the zeppelin represent something about the legend of excalibur or is it just to illustrate the world around and finally have nothing with story-telling but just an illustrativer element of your picture to make it more steampunk ?
Promising anyway
I think the camera angle is alot better now, and I like the idea of a complex scene being seen through the windows. The blimp is looking ace!
