Here’s time for some first ideas…

Noe Arch :

a long train of mechanical animals come into the large steamboat belly… made of wood, metal and copper…
When the door is close… the complicated machinery start…some strange machines appear… steam engine…
sort of mechanical legs leave from the boat hull, and a sort of balloon…
…in a hell of smokes, sounds and trepidations… and the steamboat fly away heavily towards space !

Moai birth :

comes from space, big robots landing on earth, on Ister Island… alerted by this sound… people comes to see what happend…
The first robot turn his glance to the others… and say “chhhht”…
…at this moment, we could understand that these bots are “Transformers”… ant they change into stones, Moai’s statues… silencer and motionless…

When comes Electric Life :

[/b]Large view to an old modern city… it’s the end of the day… a blend of medieval buildings, and long gates and street over the town… hundreds of chimneys with much dark smokes… we hear much steam machines everywhere in this city.
but the night comes… and we can hear strange electrics sounds… in the same time, the steam machine stops… little lights appear in many part… and some strange flying machines and silencer gliding trains start to appear everywhere surrounded by lights…
…if steam and smoke live the day… the electric fairy bright in the night !

Jack and the Beanstalk :

[/b]Jack is playing with is little pedal car… simply made of woods planks, and metal sheets…
The little boy stop in front of a curious giant bean… he is astonished… with his car, he gives a blow in the bean which starts to grow towards the sky…
At this moment, Jack press the only button of the car… the big red button !
and suddenly, his car, in a metal noise deafening starts to change…
…to a big robot… and this robot, with Jack with the orders, begins his rise towards the clouds !

Albert Robida Hommage:

[/b]Many stories are possible…
With references of Robida’s books as the “Vingtième Siècle”… As you know… the Vieux Paris I’m working on actually was created by this guy…
That could be his vision of the new 1900 Paris Metropolitan…
or the flying station at the top of Notre-Dame cathedral…
…or
there’s much possible choices in his bibliography…
…and that also permit me to re-used the animations for an exposition next year… then why not…
