Well, I’m going to try and do this in 3D… I hope I’m up to the challenge.

I’ve decided to take on the story of the golden goose. I’ve never done a a big official CGChallenge before… I hope I can get myself to finish! EEk, I can’t believe I’m going to try and do this!

Just started playing around with blocking out the environment a bit.

Got started on the head. In the past, I’ve usually modeled heads with box modeling techniques, so this marks the first time I’ve tried doing it by starting with the eye and extruding out. I think I like this way of modeling better- it feels like it’s faster.

I think I’m ready to tackle the ear next.
