First timer here on CGTalkl and I’m taking the plunge! Finally came up with a myth that I’d like to tackle - Charon the Ferryman of Hades and I planned on having a young girl in the boat and after reading more found out that Psyche had to travel to Hades to grab a box and return with it as proof of her love for Eros.

I’m looking forward to pushing my character and organic modeling skills past my work-a-day world of hard surface modeling, so crits and comments welcome.

Time for more sketchin and on to some previz modeling to hash out the scene.

So there it starts folks, I’m amazed at all the great work that is already out there, and might be starting a bit late but plan on having fun, no matter what.

Still been sketching, started to do some modeling which will be up shortly. Having fun looking at ref for old time steam engines, paddle wheel boats and other Victorian mechanics.
