Okey the simmering is done, and i’ve boiled my ideas down to two scene’s …

1. The Ratcatcher of Hamelin:

The idea here is that a ratcatcher attracts all the citisans steampowered / electrical stuff with his music. The ratcather will have a huge stereo on his back and he will be followed by cars, ovens, telephones, maybe even robots.

2. Wright brothers first flight:

Aviation legends, they invitented and build the first ever airplane.
My idea for this image is a bit more action packed than a few guys on a field a cold december day.
I wonder if one of the brothers thought about takeing a test flight before the other brother woke up.
One of the brothers will be sitting on the flying machine steam and fire bursting out behind it as he flies through the city nearly hitting cars, dog’s lamppost’s etc.

So there is it my two ideas i’ll get cracking on the concepts . . . .NOW!

I made a quick previs of the image i want to work on in this challenge. This is’nt the final composition, ill work that out a bit later, but this will do for now.
I’ll hit the streets and start gethering some inspiration for buildings. I’ll be posting what i found later on :slight_smile:

I went for a long walk before work today to gather some insperation for the buildings in the image.
Rest assured that there will be more :slight_smile:

I went for another walk this morning to take some more pictures:)
I’ll now lay out the scene in Maya and then start modelling the building’s.
For this project i want to create the scene, while i let the charater(s) and probs slowly develope both on paper and in my mind. Surely ill upload the concepts later on :wink:

Eventho i havent uploaded anything in about a month, it doesnt mean i havent thought about the challenge… I’ve got at bunch of drawings that i’ll upload within a few days.

On a side note i hope u all have had a lovely xmas.
