hello all,first shot,finally got around to start things …

so im gonna do an industrial steampunk of the river styx which circules the underworld 9 times and the entrance to hell…my version of the boatman is abit more industrialized and the spirit of the industrial era will be through all out the image (automatization);
the boatman will be replaced by those zepelin kindna thingyes which will pick up ppl from “train stations” and lead them to the underworld…through that big structure over there.

well thats aabout it for now…C&C most welcomed!

hei ,im such a lazy ass:)) so i started this again after like 5 days in which i was sick and didnt feel like doing anything…kinda got the atmosphere …now im gonna tighten things up and make up steampunish

Nice image so far - looks very reminiscent of Stephen Martiniere’s work, which I love. Good luck finishing it - there’s been no word of an extension yet (unfortunately!)

so i ve worked abit on it…now its time to put things togheter and turn on the atmosphere layers…then details(cant work more on it today…hopefully tomorrow ill catch up)

bring in any sugestions ,crits or anything that croses your minds!

thanks guys! i really hope youll like the end result!

so i couldnt stay away from it before i went to sleep…so i put in abit of atmosphere and changed some little things…:-"
notes to self abuot what remains(short list) -make more evident the teraces…maybe aquaductish?
-make more sense out of the building to the left
-do something to the huge structure in the center…to show its "eating " the souls delivered on the zepelins
-more steampunk look or industrial
-detail detail detail

well i ve started working on it abit,and now i have to let it go…start my row house project for uni haha…so till late tonight or tomorrow i gotta decide for which type to go…huge structure right next to the existing one…or little 1.its an important area in the piece …so what you guys think?

you are wrong!
you submit really great image, i love the atmosfer,composition,color and the lighting is amazing. i understand why people doesnt give you so much comments because your image is to small(it hard to see). probably you should post bigger image, good luck.

here it is …

in your earlier update … the one with the small n big structure … i think the one with the small structure works best … it’s more inviting … i’ve also noticed that it’s not there in your new update :frowning: … and there seems to be some sharpness missing as compared to your earlier update … now it’s not there too …

me really looking forward to the final showdown! … i know you’re little irritated since there wasn’t any response n all …
but, however, it’s surely not because no one likes your work or anything that you feel otherwise …

on the other hand … do take care of your health and finish this off once and for all! :buttrock:
