I think I’ve found a subject: I want to portray Boadicea, Celt Princess, fighting the Romans. She became a legend! So I’m looking for refences about Romans, Celts and Steampunks. This one of my first concepts: weapons. The first is a Falcata-gun, inspired by the Falcata itself, a flintlock-dagger, and a french revolver.

I wanted the Romans to have better technology, so that’s why they’re using a gun more similar to a “wild-west” revolver. The spatha is from a later period, but I like how it looks :slight_smile: Please let me know your impressions.

I made these drawings to use them as base for the character’s clothing. I began modelling, just in case.

nice work. :slight_smile: first thing that i thought when i saw the falcata was the gunblade from Final Fantasy VIII. :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m working on this helmet. A little more feathers for the wings and that’s it! :slight_smile:

Actually, that was my first inspiration. After that I found that those weapons really existed, but were much smaller… The one I used as reference was a french flintlock/dagger that has a grip just like the Falcata. Good for me :slight_smile:
