Stymphalian birds(wolves)
Thanks to everybody who support me a lot with the feedback.
Composition of the birds is much stronger than the tooth fairy. I really like it and declare it a winner.
Great artworks. Hard to say for me which one is the best. The first one is the one with the more dynamic composition, but I really like the story of the second one, it’s a little bit more extraordinary.
Hi Andre,Michael and Jackzang thanks a lot for your feedback,i think i will just take a break and have a look again later.
Great work Heri,
i like both of them,
but as somebody said before,
the second one is more interesting in term of an idea,
but first one has more action and dynamic.
It is your turn to choose one
but i vote for the fairy!
Hey Irawen I personally prefer the tooth fairy. Yes the first piece is more dynamic, but there is a better sense of focus in the tooth fairy piece. It has a strong lighting that pushes the focus on the fairy and keeps him in the spotlight. The bird piece has a lot happening in terms of detail, which allows me to appreciate each section. However, there isn’t anything connecting the bird to me (and the larger audience) so it’s as if it’s just posing, though it is in action. If there were a person or a monster to the right of the piece engaging it then the piece would pack more action and play with the foreground a bit more. This is what the tooth fairy has, the connection to the audience because of the background. The fairy has a relationship with the man in back, and the contrast between light and dark, the facial expressions and bodily expressions add to the amount of detail in this piece. That overall connection with the audience is what I’d say makes it a better piece as I’m able to engage it and almost feel as if I’m the one with the tooth. Just my opinion though, but they’re both incredible pieces. All the best to you and I hope this helps
I like the idea behind the tooth fairy! But I find that the other one is more detailed…
I can’t decide :hmm:
Amazing work, by the way :applause:
looked at your drawings again,
they are really amazing,

Good luck to you,

Once upon a time king Arthur did not want to go to sleep because of a problem with his tooth. His last tooth was wobbly. His son, who saw that his father was worrrying, asked him why he was so afraid to loose his tooth since he already lost a lot. King Arthur explained that he had a dream the tooth fairy was taking his last tooth. Since his childhood he was afraid of the tooth fairy.
His son laughed and told the father:This is just mythos and legend!
