Concept / pre-visualization: Initial Concept - Giant Steampunk Gryphon (Griffin) - defending it’s gold hoard from the Arimaspians, the one-eyed people of Scythia.

Just starting to sketch ideas and gather ref. The basic myth I am using is from the following sites:

Here are a few sketches and doodles from the last couple of weeks. Just trying to flesh out the concept a bit more. Also trying to come up with a simple airship design for the Arimaspians.
