I´m starting to construct this image. A very first layer of tones to begin the work. The other elements like people, background…are not here, but they will =) The ground will be covered like a sea of dollars, I guess.

THE STORY: "My idea is about the Medusa Myth. A huge medusa machine who destroys the poor avaricious snobs who try to escape from their own creation.

A kind of “eye for an eye” with themselves. If you plant humility, you pick humility. Plant something bad, sure you´ll pick up something terrible :D"

ah, update time! Allways hard to tell something about the details from these concept sketches, but I already can imagine this frightening snake at the side:thumbsup: ! Not sure though about the lamps, somehow they look far to fragile for such a violent beast…but perhaps you have something different in mind with it…Looking forward to see more!

Good to see you on steam punk man. I like your concept its good and has great potential, one suggestion your pre-viz picture on thread number three. Its really nice, it has scale, it has mass and it got more personality. seriously man go for that.

Oh yes - now the seampunk style is beginning to show well! I like the snake, maybe add more organic shapes trapped inside that outer shell? It could make a nice visual contrast. Steam and style :slight_smile:

Ferx: gracias! well, this stuff won´t be lamps. It will be a kind of tanks full of bills, hehe. I´ll explain it later :slight_smile:

daWinky: moorning. Yep, definitely, It won´t be lamps,hohohooo. This is a little summary: I imagine this thing like a machine which swallows the “infected” bills, make a weird digestion in their mechanical guts, this digestion creates the necessary energy to make the medusa work and transform the people in stone statues. New bills are created inside Medusa, stored in that glass tanks and finally the snakes ( they will be more than one ) expel other bills to continue the avarice stuff, and of course, give back the desired money to the statues :wink: Not bad, lol :stuck_out_tongue:

My only remark about this latest sketeche is only about the framing… maybe that must be more epic… with motion deformation…

…it’s certainly to early to say that I guess… I shut my mounth and I wait quietly the following… go with pencils Gonzalo :wip:

Yep, I thought the same thing when I started this work. Now it´s too straight isn´t it? hehe. I guess when this stuff goes more finished I´ll distort a little bit the composition.
