Hello person who has decided to click in here,

I’m David Pierre and I’m pretty much new here. I’ve signed up a few months ago but have been swamped by so much work that I haven’t been able to look around this site much. After looking at some of the entries, I don’t think I have what it takes to win but Steampunk was always a genre I’ve wanted to get a hand for so this will make for good practice.

Just a bit about me, I’m currently a Game Art student attending Full Sail University. I’m only borderline decent with a pencil/tablet, so I thought I can try my hand as a modeler. As for the competition, I’ve got a few ideas as to what I’ll be doing. My primary one being Yggdrasil, the World Tree. If that doesn’t develop well enough, I’ll probably go with a biblical reference, like the Garden of Eden.

I’ll be sketching things up and will try to get some work up by Saturday night. See you all at the finish line.
