Hi everybody!
This is my (our) first challenge here. I will participate in it with some of my friends and colleagues. In the first weeks the team is just to people: József Czakó alias “kacorkiraly” and me.
Our video will based upon an ancient inca creation myth. The story of three giant eggs, one made of gold, one made of silver and one of copper. these eggs were brought to Earth by Viracocha, the main god of incas. From these eggs borned the incas themself: from the gold egg came out the aristocrats, from the silver came out the aristocrat women, and from the copper one came out all the other inca people. This story was their self-verification of tyrannizing every indian tribes of their land, since in their other myths the sun-god Inti (who is the father of Viracocha) made mankind from simple mud. With this myth, they made themself superior to others.
[i]Our story will be an invasion story of the steampunk incas. They come with a gigantic air-ship-propeller-plane-monster-robot-god combo vehicle (Viracocha) and reach ground in 3 huge landing eggs…

this is our first completed concept.
One of the warriors I would like to appear in our trailer. much more to come!
With the surface of our steampunk vehicles and robots I would like to refer to the structure of the monumental inca stone-walls. (I will post some reference pictures soon)

Nice one! I love the look of the vehicle, and its scale with reference to the character. It’s like a walking chair instead of a huge hulking mechanical beast or something…looks great!

This is the first sketch of my fellow Kacorkiraly. I really love the head of this robot, so maybe that will be the head of The Inka - the king of the incas - with a little more heroic body and a special weapon…

Now two sketchy ones from me too.
I think I have to start drawing the much more important things than these warriors. These are good eye candy (I hope so), but many of them won’t appear in the final video.
