I like the new Dorothy sketches better, but I think her hair style looks very modern.

Much better! :slight_smile: I especially like the drawing of Dorothy on the left. Her chin looks a bit large in the right drawing. Also, Miketche does make a good point about her hair being in a modern style.

Yesterday I painted a little oil-color study of the tinman. I just scanned it and refined the painting with some digital tweaks in Painter. I think i’ll use this kind of mixed media technique for my final illustration too.

The Lion is nearly done, coming soon!

Ok, fellas… I’m back!
I wanted to post the Lion Concept before moving on to the illustration work, but i’ve made this first little thumbnail sketch and wanted to share this with you. I won’t say much about it right now, because i think it’s good as a basis and i have to work it out to be able to tell you what i’m aiming for. But don’t hesitate to tell me your opinion! Every kind of input is very welcome.
