This is my first concept previsualisation for the steampunk competition, the title is “Carro Del Poseidon”.

Hi Good idea man! look like no one doing Poseidon :slight_smile:

i like the style, but maybe the “horse cart” can be more extreme design, if you turn into silhouette, you will notice hard to tell what is that .

Just my worthless thought .

My Intention was to make the chariot looks more like a sea shell in silhoutte from every direction, it wasn’t convey very well for this few angle. Like you said, it’s really need enhancing. Thanks for the suggestion, appreciate it:bowdown:
I have been trying to hack out a composition which can shows more of the details of the steam elements, a slight 70 degree perspective is in my mind currently. A speed distortion also in consideration. A green field with blue sky as the background.

But I won’t be progressing sooner than I thought as I will not be around my desktop at the weekend… will get back to work once am back.:scream:

Very interesting concept:) Hope to see a wacky design :slight_smile: i have a suggestion :stuck_out_tongue: u distort the shape of chariot so silhouette will look like deformed and tapered. This may have more stylized and wacky look. cheers :thumbsup:

Great Idea, but few ideas…redo the chariot design. And a question too>

If the chariot is is steam powered, why does it need sea horses?!? It does need to get pulled, as the steam engine provides necessary power. If you really want the horses, I suggest adding them as companions, like side kicks with guards riding on them. It would make POSEIDON kind of a VIP guy…hehe:)

Well Mr Peace, I understand your suggestion, actually my Poseidon chariot design is a whole steam engine itself. The seahorses in front is a part of the chariot itself, imagine it like a long mobile car with steam engine, the seahorses are the front of the car but it has a life of their own. Yes u r right with them been Poseidon sidekick as he interacts with the seahorses as his own family, according to the my background story. I will write down the back story soon and post it. :slight_smile:

I have detail some outline design for the main characters, as well adjusted some colour setting for the overall feeling.
