Charles Schneck is entered in the “Steampunk Myths and Legends” update: View Challenge Page
Hi all, I finally decided to create an account here to enter this cool challenge and your nice community.
Here is a first piece from my work in progress.
Wow, pretty nice stuff but I’m not seeing where the steampunk element is in this?
Hey man! Welcome! Nice piece I like the sense of proportion very much! How about posting some history so we can understand better where are you going with this challenge? Best luck!
SynthOrange> in fact this is just a background, the steampunk element will be animated in.
Scied> I’ll try to be more explicit about the purpose in my next post, I will add the storyboard and some artworks very soon.
Thanks for your comments and the welcome guys.

Your backgrounds look fantastic! Looking forward to see 3d elements intigrated.

Hum no ru-bonsai, I won’t use camera projection, i don’t even know if i’ll manage to do the half of what i wanted, I 'll try to do something nice with layers…
Thanks for these nice comments.
I’m starting to be really out of time, i don’t know if i’ll manage to finish it. But here is a part of the cleaned animation; at least you can see how it moves. Some other frames will follow very VERY soon.
The man is the foreground is grabbing a broken sword in his right hand, it’s not still there in this video
