Bobby Thomas has entered “Steampunk Myths and Legends”.
Hi all. I’m Bob (AKA Eggpoacher). Brand new member to CGSociety and getting underway with this steampunk challenge.
I have a few things I have been working on such as a rough screenplay to guide me through the shots I need for this animation. I shall get to storyboarding soon enough but already have the main character and most of my monster modeled. This will be a good learning experience in the way of a good lesson in artistic dicipline and motivation, as well as the technicalities of Maya and the workflow of such a project.

I’m not much of a writer so I am basically going straight from the story but placing it in a steampunk world. The steampunk theme I don’t think will be too “in your face”, but the timeframe of the story makes it too easy which is one simplistic appeal it had to me as the only person on this project with only a few months to complete it.
