Steampunk Myths and Legends Entry: Antonio Santos
Hello, people. My name is Antonio Santos and i’m an illustrator fro S?o Paulo, Brazil. That’s my first CGChallenge and i hope to learn a lot with all of your opinions and critiques!
After ending all projects of 2008, i can now get myself into the contest fully. After some research about legends and myths, three stories interested me the most: The Warriors of Cadmus, born from a dragon’s teeth; Icarus, the firt one i thought; and Pandora, made by Zeus to punish the fire-stealing Men. For now I’ll follow that idea.
So i imagined a clockwork woman, of ebony and ivory and brass, made as a present for an old enemy, holding in her hands a music box full of a mysterious evil. When the time comes, she will open the box.
