I merged all the layers into an 800 kilobyte gif animation,
I’m probably going to finish the painting part of it a little more if I get tired of modeling,
because I also like to paint, and I don’t think I would want to leave it looking unfinished.
I bounce around a lot between things.
The smiley face here is horrible 
I just made a quick basic render in internal to motivate myself,
I'm probaly going to use kerkythea or yafaray though.
I think I have the rough shapes I want, so now I'm going to beef them up,
and then add more layers.
Plus it's a little too jovial looking, like a 'Fraggle Rock' character.

Well, I'm not sure if I'm going to continue working on this,
mainly I was interested in trying techical modeling,
but after modelling 3 gears I think I got that out of my system.
I guess I still have a month to change my mind,
