The Idea was to recreate the whole 27th and 28 floor of stargate command, instead end up doing the gate room only out of sheer boredom.
Not actually a wip as I “finished” the model already… for now at least. Maybe I’ll texture later. But you guys can get the model and renders from here:

Your gate room is beautiful, very nice work. It may not be “complex” modelling but jeez the scale and detail level… My main question is what source material were you working from? If your just going off the shots from the show that’s very impressive.
I have the whole series in mp4. Recently I caught myself watching everything again, as I watched I took screenies, tens of them from every angle you can imagine. I used them as reference. For the correct shape of the room I’ve used a 200x300 pixel img of a blueprint I’ve found on Richard Deal Anderson’s website.
It took a solid month working about 3 hrs every day to build it.
