SSS Shader Problem

I am a second year student for Game Arts and it seems to me that around every corner there are problems! I really want to hit my PC with a wrench. I tried to troubleshoot this without success and the deadline is homing in on me. I hope you guys can help me.

I am using Maya 2012, and this is what my SSS looks like:

  • Image
    -The noise is caused by displacement map
    -The redness is caused by bump map
    -When both are removed it looks fine

well I spent a bigger part of the day troubleshooting this with class assistant and there is still one problem we could not solve. One thing I know for sure is that the problem is caused by normal map.
I generated normal map in ZBrush.

The problem was solved. In render settings the DEFAULT INPUT PROFILE was set to SRGB when I set it to LINEAR SRGB which it fixed the problem.
