Sprite Random Scale Help

Hi,

I keep getting syntax error with the following expression, any ideas on what could be wrong ?

particleShape1.spriteScaleXPP=rand(.1,5)
particleShape1.spriteScaleYPP=particleShape1.spriteScaleXPP

BTW, ignore the space at the end of the line, doesn’t matter how many times I edit this post, it’s still putting that space in for some reason, needless to say, it’s not in the expression within Maya.

possible missing semi-colon at the end of the line?
