Spline based hair and fur not rendering in Arnold


Ive searched around and found a few people mentioning this issue with vray, but I havent seen it mentioned in Arnold. Here’s the weird thing though, Ive set Hairs rendering option to mr prim and it does show up in ActiveShade, but not in my production render. Anyone have any ideas?

I should also add, mesh based hair does render as well. I also tried displaying the hair as geometry in the viewport. That didnt work.
