hello people,

This is my latest personal work i finished.

The piece was done in aproximatly 3 to 4 days with quite some post-production work in photoshop.

It was alot of fun to do an oriental based render as it has specific colours with a very warm feeling wich i realy like.

your welcome to give crits and comments.

Great piece dude!

I like the diversity of the window framing…
Much detail, which creates great light effects.

On to the rest of the restaurant…

Wow! it’s a very nice light composition. I like the wooden frames in the front and back of the room.

It looks very realistic!

Try to cut down on the brightness in the background and maybe add some steam to the bottle too?

btw: your last name means ‘retard’ in danish

This is truely a fairytale realisme in it’s eastern environment!

Beautiful work! It’s a sort of voyeuristic peek into a nice and warm little room and that makes it peaceful and relaxed for the eye to look at. I like the wall-cracks, the detailed ceiling and especially the hills in the back (is this CG too?) it makes the colorscheme complete!

Keep up the good work!!!

here is the wireframe…

#14

really nice atmosphere to sit and relax :P…but you have some problems with aa though:)

#15

the aa problems arent really aa problems but i rendered the original image at 3000x3000 and scaled it down a little but then it became blurry so i applied an unsharp filter in photoshop…

thats probably what causes it…also if an image is to big in windows explorer it automaticaly scales it down and then its also jacked alot

but thnx for the crits and comments

The atmosphere you created is really nice! Vray does a fine job with lighting if you do it right and you managed it great!
AA problems are easily solved with vray! Just a few settings changes and you’re there. It will only cost you some longer render times.

Nice job!

Sebastian

i wanna be there:)

great work:thumbsup:

Kudos to you Nelis.

I love the lighting,…your good use of color really did bring forth the fairytale look.

There really is nothing that I could say to improve the image apart from that maybe it would’ve been nicer if it was a bit blurry.

Keep it up

H

I like this image very much! The mood is great, and you’ve accieved that ‘warm feeling’. I check out your website and it seems you’re really good at nice lighting in VRay…!

Cool job, other Dutchy
