Belinda was sick of all that stupid grazing and rumination. So she left the herd to do something really spectacular.
This is a concept idea of a more serious pic. It shows the arrival of the Idluartok… Every decade they start their incredible journey to bring freshwater to those in need.
Meanwhile I think I will show an other part of their journey. Which I think shows a slightly more spectacular moment. But I yet have to draw the concept.
Thanks for your comments.

Looks like we’re heading for yet another classic Torsten here - really looking forward to it.
Just a slightly variation of the concept. It shows the gathering of the Idluartok fleet shortly before they pass the strait of Goltemare.
I am still not satisfied with it. I am missing the WOW factor. Maybe I have to choose a different camera angle.
Meditate about this matter I will.

Try a more ground-based angle, like if you were standing on that beach.
Work that, could it.
One more concept.
Disasters always have the best potential to be spectacular. So heres mine.

In the year 2.848.958 BC after two years of hard work and tireless training Ngrambo started his final attempt to be the first in prehistory to conquer gravity for more then a second.
He contacted the oracle of Tencanema to find the best day for his project. Unfortunately he forgot to ask for unpredictable appearance of any creatures which were believed to be extinct for several million years.
He succeeded and was the first to conquer gravity, but the landing was anything but a success (except for the T-Rex of course).
The only consolation Ngrambo had was, that he was not only the first to conquer gravity but also the one who invented the term Fast food.
Which should be known for millions and millions of years.
So I have decided to go for the iceberg concept. I dont want to do another cartoon-style image. As I have nearly no experience in texturing and lighting this will be a real challenge.
Here just a quick start of the ship hull.
