first bit of modelling in on the eiffel tower, only low detail at the moment

EDIT: i have posted this first because for some reason whenever i try to upload my concept sketch it tells me i have an error in my SQL syntax…wierd…but heres my concept in words :slight_smile:

it’s in the near future (next 20-30 years) in france, theres a war going on (possibly war on terror still) and half of france has been levelled. Most of the city lives in a tent city erected in the shadow of the eiffel tower which has been propagandised and vandalised. A plane is just about to hit the eiffel tower about half way up its height.

The whole image is going to be done so it is as though the picture was taken by one of the refugees on the ground…

hopefully things will come together quickly and you guys will get more of an idea

thanks guys, i’m thinking with the plane hitting the tower that I’m going to actually have it already hitting it. This way I get to play a bit with explosions and deforming and just general breaking stuff…

this is my first challenge i’m making a serious attempt on…so i just hope i get it done.

Thanks guys…

I’m taking a small break from working on the tower and I might move onto the plane for now just get the basic look going…i’m going for a normal passenger jet

also, on the concept, i decided to go for something that was a bit more grounded in reality and something that i knew would get a response from people i.e. terrorism

i’ll be back soon with some plane done
