Ok everyone im entering the contest! i hope i can finish this one. i have some free time before school so i have no exuses…

anyways here’s my concept sketch, as you can see i really suck at 2d but the 3d image will be much much much better!

well here’s my idea.

A soldier kissing his girlfriend because the war is over. in the back ground there will be another soldier watching them, a bunch of other soldiers putting up a flag, crashing space ships, explosions and dead bodies on the floor.

lots of stuff to make it spectaular!

finaly a good concept!!!
some people think that the expresions like “think outside the box!” means, that they must create bigger explosions than others!
themes like love, care, loneliness, happiness can be S P E C T A C U L A R too! cheers!

EDIT: You have to do something in the background, for example fighting, killing… its will give more passivity to the kiss… :slight_smile:

P.S. I thought that he is Megaman, lol… You have to make the girl has yellow hair, so she act like Roll… hehehe, just kidding…

thanks for the nice comments guys, one of my friends didn’t like it but i decided to stick with it and im glad i did since you guys like it.

sorry but i can’t do much in 2d but don’t worry the 3d version will have tons of details and the after math of war behind it.

yes i know making a kiss in 3d is going to be hard but im up to the challenge!

I’m thinking with all the stuff happening in the background, it’ll be an interesting pic. Heh, looking at the thumbnail on the thread list, it looked like megaman making out with one of those sailor moon chicks :slight_smile:

im going to start the modeling tomorrow, first thing im going to model is a space ship or the guy. for the guy im going for the fallout 2 power armour look, i always thought those power suits were the coolest things ever made

I really like the idea. I will try my best to follow this and give you my suggestions. WHen i first saw this and everything i thought that the lady should be almost flown back from the soilder like having her hair fly backwards kinda, and her legs extended all the way. THat would make this kiss way more ‘Spectacular’.

hmmm interesting… i like the idea that your gonna work with human emotion in this one. But i would erally hope u’ll change the pose of the gurl… looks a bit too ‘R’ rated… i suggest both standing and enjoying a passionate kiss of achivement :bounce: anyways keep up the good works and have fun

well i started modeling the ship’s turbine, there will be multiple ships in the scene, some flying around, one crashing and one landed in the background near a soldier signaling the guy and his girlfriend to get in.

I started working on the hull of the ship, im gonna add frame bars around the panels.
